Cancellation Policy
If Maritime Philosophy Friends cancels a class due, for example, to illness or inclement weather, an alternate class day/time will be offered. If this is not sufficient or possible, a pre-recorded lesson will be posted for subscribers. For in-person students, a refund will be issued.

Maritime Philosophy Friends also reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient registration. If Maritime Philosophy Friends cancels a class due to insufficient registration, parents will be notified via email and a full refund will be issued.

Refund Policy
If you paid for a single class, refunds must be requested at least 24 hours before class begins. If you do not request a refund for a class at least 24 hours before the class begins, you will not receive a refund for that class. Refunds requested 24 hours (or more) before class begins will be initiated within 1-2 days.

If you are a monthly subscriber, you may cancel your subscription at any time and you will not be billed again when your current subscription expires. Refunds are not available for single classes that students miss. Pro-rated refunds are not available for subscription cancellations.

For verification purposes, refund requests and inquiries must be submitted via email (send to maritimephilosophyfriends@gmail.com) and sent from the email address that was provided at the time of registration. You may also contact me via phone (782-774-7921) to notify me of a refund request. However, the refund will not be initiated until I receive a follow up email from the email address provided at the time of registration. This procedure is in place to protect your account from fallacious refund requests.
